Curiosity Isn't Just For Cats

Capy Castaway is a narrative adventure game that rewards curiosity with delight and consequence. What would happen if you shook that tree, or threw away a character's favourite toy? Invoke the playful nature of a capybara pup discovering a whole new world and the advice of a crow who enables mischievous behaviour. 

Two Heads Are Better Than One

Capy and Corvi are an unlikely duo, but using their combined skills, they can help each other out! While Capy can push heavier objects, sniff out treasure, and dig with their little paws, you can fly Corvi independently across short distances or to hard-to-reach places. Corvi can even bring items to Capy, flying to grab and deliver them so Capy can try to eat or wear the treasure as a hat!

All the animals you meet have their own dialogue and narrative choices, with relationships among each other and unique character arcs that can be discovered through interactions and missions.

Work together to explore the island, clear puzzles, and help the castaway zoo animals...all while trying to find your way home!

The Story

Washed ashore on a mysterious island, a massive flood upends the lives of several zoo animals and sparks the beginning of a life-changing journey.  As a small capybara, Capy uses their strong sense of smell and innate curiosity to dig up buried objects and push large obstacles. In contrast, Corvi uses their keen eye and flying ability to fetch treasures from high places with a questionably helpful comment at every turn. The island is a peculiar place where lost things gather, and its secrets are revealed to those who seek them out.

Meeting old and new friends, this narrative-driven adventure is sure to warm hearts and transport players to a space that is both new and nostalgic as they explore a world inspired by the city and childhood stories of Toronto.
